Back from my solo trip to London the other week and I have to admit: I am happy to be home. I stayed in Shoreditch this time and to be completely honest: I wish I had a companion instead of going solo, mostly because it was very cold and wet and I found the notion of spending time on my own in restaurants and bars less appealing this time around.

That said, I had long breakfasts at my hotel reading a book, had two nice long saunters around the Shoreditch area, visited Spitalfields Market, the Tate Britain and Covent Garden (mainly to check out the Arket Store there, it is wonderful by the way with a very nice café) and met up with a former colleague and with the owners of KetoDiet App.

I will be returning this year for sure, hopefully with my significant other half. Next up though: a trip to Copenhagen with my eldest son. And very much looking forward to that.
