I went into Zara today (for the first time in almost two months by the way) to try on the leather jacket I so gleefully spoke of yesterday and was left undecided on whether to buy it or not. Nothing takes the fun out of shopping when the one thing you thought would be perfect turns out a tad on the meh-side, right?

And then I spotted this faux-shearling beauty three aisles down.

I am aware of the fact this is a rather shameless Acne Studios Velocite knock-off: the colour, belting and shape of the collar are all too familiar. But when confronted with a 2300 euro price tag for the real deal (and yes I know that is in pure suede and not wool etc)…well you can do the math yourselves.

I hop-skipped home.
Nuff said.
