Roadtrip

Ever wondered what happens when a photo diary post like this one is

a long overdue and
b rushed because there are several children, some not your own, clamouring for your presence elsewhere in the house?

You end up lost for words, hoping the images themselves (in complete random order may I add) will be sufficient enough to make this an entertaining one and very ashamed you simply had too much of a good time and never got round to taking more photos of beautiful sunny Amsterdam, the food, the shops, the company you kept and so much more.

I will say this though: the staff at Hotel V Nesplein were the friendliest and most helpful bunch I have ever come across in a hotel and for that alone I can not recommend this place highly enough. Go there! Book now!

SOH and I stayed in a Superior room at Hotel V Nesplein with drinks, an amazing dinner and an à la carte breakfast at The Lobby restaurant
We also had drinks and bites at the very fancy Conservatorium Hotel and at the small but delightful Bar Huf
