A good dupe

I have just two things to say this morning:
I love buying coats. They are usually the pieces with a very long lifespan for me: I have coats I still wear from 12 years back. And for those of the ‘But you only need one coat’ school of thought: when wearing minimal outfits it is just so much fun to have a choice of coats to throw over, especially in the Netherlands where coats are worn for most of the year anyway.
This blazer from Mango is to die for. I actually bought it with the trousers but as you can tell from the third photo: the model, most likely a not too shabby 1.80 m tall, is actually standing on the hems. So you can imagine what the trousers looked like on my 1.69 m frame. Seriously Mango, what is up with that??
Nope, not going to buy this, unless it shows up as a sales item with a hefty discount, but is this not just one of those dresses to get years and years of wear out of?
So before I start on this lovely dress purchase (on sale now!) from & Other Stories I want to ‘bitch’ a little about shopping at brick & mortar shops these days. I ordered this dress online as with most of my stuff now, because long lines at fitting rooms and snotty staff are just too much to handle for me, not to mention the fact I get actual panick attacks when it gets really crowded in town.
